As a New Braunfels newborn photographer, Capture Life Beautiful offers two types of newborn sessions to help you remember those fleeting moments. Either way, you are sure to have precious memories of your sweet new little one.
Every newborn session is approximately 3-4 hours. That seems like a long time, but allows the necessary time for the feedings, changes, and settling the baby for those sweet sleepy poses. We always start with the full family and then end with the poses of just baby. The advantage of being in the comfort of your home, is that you will have all the comforts of home, and once the rest of the family is done they are free to go on to other things. This is perfect for bigger siblings!
Option one focuses on more lifestyle images. I utilize the light around your home and props that are appropriate such as baskets or special family trinkets to make these something unique and special. These lifestyle images in your home capture the spaces you love and snuggle your baby in. Your room, the nursery you've worked so hard to design, or the couch where all the snuggles happen. Don't feel like your house is photo ready? No worries! I know how to work in lots of different spaces and maximize the lighting and decor that are available. I do not bring additional lighting or props for this style session. I do bring wraps for baby and you are welcome to use outfits from my client closet.
Option two includes everything that the first session includes, but I bring props for additional posed scenes as well as additional lighting. The session includes props for two wrapped posed scenes, a solid color drop for a posed family photo, and one drop for posed baby images. We will spend a little less time in the lifestyle poses to allow for these more posed images.
